A warm welcome to everyone who’s joined #coloricombo over the last few days. It’s wonderful to have you here and I sincerely hope that you’ll enjoy this regular dose of colour.

This week I’ve chosen to use a beautiful illustration by the Portuguese artist Maria Keil who, alongside painting and illustration, was especially recognised for her tile work. In fact, if you’ve ever travelled on the Lisbon Metro, it’s likely that you’ve walked past one or more of Keil’s azulejos panels.

Coloricombo Colour Prompts is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

By the way, there’s a reason I’ve been looking at artists and art from Portugal recently. Why? I’ll share that with you later this week.
