This years marks a decade of my teaching online courses and I’ve been thinking about how to celebrate this milestone in a special way. There have been a lot of changes in the last ten years, with many more artists and creators sharing their knowledge and unique style in demos, online courses and workshops.

As a professional artist, colourist and educator I know how important learning is, it never really stops! Developing skills and exploring ways to evolve and grow is important, and this is what made me come up with a plan to combine the topics I love in a collaborative way with other artists.

Florals are timeless subjects and when you combine them with dynamic colour palettes, you’ve got my favourite topics for art making. I invited a selection of fellow artist-educators whose work and teaching style I have an affinity for to join me for a celebratory venture which I’ve named the Colori Flori Summit. The select group of artists also share my love of colours and florals, what’s not to like? I was delighted by the response and we hatched a plan.

Spring is such a happy and hopeful time of the year, it’s an opportune time to bring something fresh, vibrant and inspiring to the world, and that is exactly what we’ll be doing in May.

The Colori Flori Summit 2025

This colour and floral themed summit is the place to celebrate female creatives who inspire others with their authentic style and in-depth knowledge of materials and techniques.

From 12-25 May there will be brand new, exclusive lessons shared with everyone registered for the Summit, all by artists known for their mastery of colour, florals or botanical forms.

What makes Colori Flori special?

Artists will demonstrate different techniques or creative processes in freshly recorded and edited 30-40 minute lesson using a specific #coloricombo palette to create a floral or botanical artwork in their own way, in a medium they’re known for.

Media and techniques demonstrated in the lessons include:
✨ Painting in watercolour, gouache, acrylics and inks.
✨ Printing and stamping.
✨ Collage & mixed media.
✨ Pencils, Aquarelle crayons and markers
✨ Other dry- and water-based media

Once the summit begins, it’ll be priced at $98 (12-25 May). When the summit ends, registration closes altogether.
