Catching up on #coloricombo today, I noticed that the mixing and artwork videos for Week 41’s colours hadn’t been uploaded so here they are. Colours were all taken from the Blue Dog artwork by George Rodrigue.
Mixing
You can see me mixing the colours Lemon Yellow, Chartreuse, Aegean Blue & Navy Blue in the video at the top of the page.
Artwork
I’ve shared the artwork demo for everyone below. I recently released a new course called Paper Vases and this is a sneak preview of one of the lessons.
Paper Vases
In the full course course you’ll learn how to create paper vases and decorate them with watercolour and mixed media techniques in your own unique way using #coloricombo colours.
Paper vase silhouettes are bonded to create sleeves that fits around containers used for floral bouquets.
As a bonus project you will learn how to make a bunch of colourful flowers from a sheet of paper as alternative option to fresh flowers.
Paper Vases is available on my course page where you can find it for sale for only £47 with a years access.
Would you like to know what is really special about the Paper Vases course?
The course’s five projects can be done in both simple and more sophisticated and elaborate ways too.
There are five vase templates ranging in size - smaller options are ideal to use for weekly Coloricombo colour prompt samplers.
All projects are suitable for everyone, including beginners and different age groups as young children.
The paper vase sleeves can be sent in an envelope to loved ones as an alternative to a greeting card or original 3D artwork!
Projects can be done by a family or a group of friends as a creative project with an practical outcome to be treasured.
