Week 51’s colours were from a biscuit tin produced by Huntley & Palmers, who used to be the worlds largest manufacturer of biscuits and were based down the road from us, in the town of Reading in Berkshire.
Mixing
The video above shows me mixing Khaki, Tan, Sky Blue & Pale Gold in watercolours and white gouache for my little book of colours.
Artwork
Using Week 51’s colours I did a quick sketchbook painting of a few fancy cakes using the letters Life is good as starting point and keeping with December’s theme of “Treats”. There some faintly Christmas-related music in the background instead of me talking you through the creating process and this video is viewable by everyone.
Thanks again to everyone who are paid subscribers to #coloricombo, I really appreciate your support.
