This is it, the last post for 2024 even though it is 2025 already. That extra Monday threw me, this was the 53rd one in the year. Happy new year to everyone, hope you’re getting back to a level of normality after the festive season.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to go through the Coloricombo survey. If you haven’t yet, you can find it here. I’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for being part of this community, Coloricombo will change a bit in this new year. In the coming weeks and months I will be trying out a few adjustments and incorporating new ideas and processes in the evolution of this program. Colours will still be shared weekly and will remain FREE for everyone.
These colours were taken from an illustration by Andy Warhol in 1959, when he worked with his friend, Suzie Frankfurt to create the tongue-in-cheek recipe book, Wild Raspberries. How many copies did it sell? Find out in the original post below.
Artwork
I overlapped things a little by using 2024’s last #coloricombo prompt and getting into the swing of 2025 by making a quick sketchbook painting starting with the word “Joy” which metamorphosed into a butterfly.
Mixing
I’m keeping both videos available for everyone this week. This mixing demo shows me mixing the colours Rose, Raspberry, Wine Red and Banana in my (now very full) little book of Colori colours.
